Two dated doors upgraded to black carriage-house doors with windows and new openers.
These Westminster homeowners replaced two dated white doors with black insulated carriage-house doors featuring a top row of windows. Black doors absorb a lot of sun at our altitude, so we recommended a model with a polyurethane core and a heat-resistant finish to prevent warping.
We installed both doors with new hardware and two quiet belt-drive openers with battery backup. On a later visit we also serviced the white carriage doors on the neighboring unit.

“Exactly the look we wanted, and the new openers are so quiet we can barely hear them from the kitchen.”
